Swing Arms (Articulated Risers) - Why do I need one?

Swing Arms, or Swing Joints, can come especially in handy when installing pop up sprinklers in your lawn. We recommend using one for every pop up. Find out why here.

Swing Arms, Swing Joints or Articulated Risers

Usually when designing or installing a pop up sprinkler system, Swing Arms are used to assist in proper positioning of the pop up sprinkler body and very handy in tight corners. They allow for flexible positioning of the sprinkler body when re-trenching or moving existing pipework is not an option.

As you can see from the video above, they also ensure that, when laying pipework, you don't have to dig deep trenches in order to align the sprinkler body at ground level. A T-piece and a swing arm is all you need to get your pop up in the right position.

We recommend a swing arm with every pop up sprinkler system installation.
