How to: Adjust a Hunter MP Rotator Nozzle

As the most popular popup nozzle in the Hunter range, the MP Rotator nozzles feature unique, multi-trajectory rotating streams that deliver water at a steady rate to allow water to gently soak in at rates that soils can absorb.

Hunter MP Rotators fit on a traditional pop-up or fixed spray body. The most common bodies are the male threaded, making the most common MPs female threaded.

INSTALLING AN MP ROTATOR:

Pull up the body riser using the grey tab and hold in raised position, remove the tab by unscrewing in a counter clockwise direction.
Screw on the MP Rotator by turning clockwise until hand tight. Do not use pliers as over tightening can damage the nozzle.
Install the MP Rotator with the Left Edge Indicator pointing to the left side of the desired watering pattern.

ADJUSTING THE ARC:

With the Left Edge Indicator (flat side of the nozzle) pointing to the left side of the desired watering pattern. Turn the system on so the MP Rotator is operating.
Rotate the Arc Adjustment Ring in a clockwise direction using the MP Tool or by hand. This will increase the radius of the spray arc.

ADJUSTING THE SPRAY RADIUS (THROW DISTANCE):

The factory setting of an MP Rotator is for full radius and the radius can be reduced by 25%. With the MP tool or a small flat bladed screwdriver, rotate the Radius Adjustment Screw
